Fernando Brízio studied Design at Faculdade de Belas-Artes de Lisboa, a city where he lives and works. He has developed projects for various organizations and companies such as Droog (NL), Amorim (PT), Experimenta Design (PT), Torino World Design Capital (IT), Cor Unum (NL), Nike (PT), Authentics (DE), Adidas (PT), Fábrica Rafael Bordallo Pinheiro (PT), Il Coccio (IT), Established & Sons (UK) and Galerie Kreo (FR), among other. During the last years he was involved in the creation of degree and master’s courses within the product design and environments area. He is a professor and coordinator of Industrial Design at ESAD.CR. He was a visiting professor at ECAL - École Cantonal d’Art de Lausanne and at Karlsruhe University of Arts and Design. He has been invited as lecturer and member of juries in Portugal and abroad. His work is regularly published and exhibited internationally, is part of the permanent collection at Mude - Museu do Design e da Moda - Francisco Capelo Collection, at the IMA Indianápolis Museum of Art, and is included in many private collections.
