Nuno Saraiva was born in Lisbon. He is an illustrator, cartoonist, teacher and street artist.
He collaborates with the leading publications in the Portuguese printed press, in particular the Expresso, Sol, Público and Time Out.
A lecturer at the Ar.Co School, he teaches in workshops on illustration and cartooning, including political cartooning. Recently, he introduced the first workshop on erotic cartooning in Portugal.
He won the 2010 El Corte Inglès Prize and is a member of the jury of the Institute of Cinema and Audiovisual (ICA) and of several animated film and illustration festivals.
His works include the books "Tudo isto é Fado!" ("All of this is Fado!") and "Filosofia de Ponta" ("Cutting-edge Philosophy"). Worthy of a mention regarding his illustrations, is the image of the Lisbon festivities promoted by the municipal company EGEAC in 2015 and 2016.
