The union of two brands with unique histories and personalities has given rise to Olival, an unprecedented collection that combines the production of high-quality olive oil with the best traditions of artistic earthenware. This line of tableware is inspired by the olive tree, a tree with rich symbolism in our culture, and by the Alentejo landscape, with its typical whitewashed houses, also heirs of a traditional knowledge that requires time and patience. This charming setting, full of rustic wisdom and beauty, is represented both by the white surface of the pieces and by their texture, specially designed to faithfully evoke the whitewash coating. On top of the white surface are elements of the olive tree, such as branches, the trunk with its different textures or olives in various shades of ripeness - all in hand-painted ceramic relief. Olival is the meeting of two ancient Mediterranean arts, two traditional Portuguese skills and two emblematic brands traditionally placed on Portuguese tables. This collection is made up of a plate, a jug, a salad bowl, a dessert plate, a cheese plate and an olive oil tasting cup.
